Our Vision


Picnic Point High School strives to create a dynamic, educational environment within a caring community that encourages all students to achieve their personal best and become responsible, informed citizens. This will be achieved through:

 

  • Providing a challenging and relevant curriculum
  • Establishing a co-operative and supportive learning environment
  • Enhancing the quality of teaching and learning
  • Developing student and community pride in the school
  • Ensuring the on-going development of all teaching, executive and administrative staff
  • Fostering in students: -  independent learning skills   -         a respect and concern for all staff and each other  -         a sense of responsibility for their own actions  -         a high standard of manners and courtesy- pride in school representation and the school’s achievements   -         respect for the school and wider environment
  • on-going improvements to the school’s physical environment and resources
  • recognising the learning and motivational needs of ALL students in reaching their full learning potential.  (This includes the gifted and talented students and those with learning difficulties).
